Human Resources Manager

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will serve as the onsite strategic Human Resources leader for our large manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa, providing guidance on workforce, organizational, talent, employee relations, and labor relations matters. You will partner closely with plant leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, culture initiatives, and business performance whilemaintainingavisiblepresencethroughoutthefacility.Youwillserveasatrustedadvisortoleadersacrosstheorganization,balancingstrategicthinkingwithoperationalexecutiontocreateasafe,engaged,andhigh-performingworkplace.ATasteofYourResponsibilitiesServeastheleadHumanResourcespartnertoplantleadership,providingstrategicguidanceonworkforce,organizational,talent,employee,andlaborrelationsmatters.LeadanddevelopateamofHumanResourcesprofessionals,fosteringacultureofaccountability,collaboration,andcontinuousimprovement.Establishastrongfloorpresence,buildingcredibilityandrelationshipswithemployees,supervisors,andleadersacrossallshifts.Leadlaborrelationsactivitiesandprovideguidanceonlabor-relatedmatters.Partnerwithoperationsleaderstoproactivelyaddressemployeerelations matters,improveengagement,andfosterapositiveworkplaceculture.Drivetalentmanagementprocessesincludingsuccessionplanning,leadershipdevelopment,andperformancemanagement.Coachandinfluenceleadersatalllevelsonemployeedevelopment,organizationaleffectiveness,changemanagement,andleadershipcapability.PartnerwithRecruitingtosupporttalentacquisitionneeds,onboarding,andretentionstrategiesalignedwithbusinessobjectives.Ensurecompliancewithallfederal,state,local,andemploymentregulationswhileminimizingorganizationalrisk.Leadcompensation,salaryplanning,cultureassessment,andorganizationaldevelopmentinitiatives.UseHumanResourcesmetricsandworkforceanalyticstoidentifytrends,makerecommendations,andsupportbusinessdecision-making.IngredientsRequiredforYourSuccessBachelor'sdegreeinHumanResources,Business,orrelatedfield.7+yearsofprogressiveHumanResourcesexperiencewithinalargemanufacturingorindustrialenvironment.Experienceleading and developing HumanResourcesteams.HumanResourcesexperiencewithinalargemanufacturingenvironment,includinglaborrelationsandsupportoffacilitieswith500+employees.Experienceleadingorganizationalchange,talentstrategy,successionplanning,andemployeeengagementinitiatives.Strongemployeerelationsbackgroundwithexperienceresolvingcomplexworkplaceissues.Demonstratedsuccessbuildingtrustandcredibilitythroughavisible,hands-onleadershipstyleandemployeeengagement.Knowledgeoflaborlaw,ERISA,EqualEmploymentOpportunityCommission,DepartmentofLabor,andotheremploymentregulations.ExperienceusingWorkdayorotherHumanResourcesinformationsystemsandleveragingdatatosupportdecision-making.Excellentcommunication,relationship-building,andconflictresolutionskills.Provensuccessinfluencingseniorleadersthroughstrongexecutivepresence,soundjudgment,andbusinessacumenwhileeffectivelyleadingthroughambiguityandchangeinafast-pacedmanufacturingenvironment.Onsite 5 days per weekRelocation assistance is available for this role, if applicable.PhysicalRequirementsMoreinformationaboutessentialtasksandthefacilitywillbesharedduringthehiringprocess.Thisrolemayrequireyoutobeinourmanufacturingfacilities.Whenvisitingthesesites,thephysicalrequirementsbelowmayapply:Youmayberequiredtowalkaroundthefacility,climbstairs/ladders,kneel,orperformrepetitivetasksthatrequirehand-eyecoordination.Youmayberequiredtoliftorcarrymaterialsthatcanvaryinweightandsize.Thisisamanufacturingenvironmentwithlarge,movingequipment.Noiselevelscanbehigh,andtemperaturesmayvary.#LI-Onsite#LI-MH1#LI-MSLCompensation Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
