Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Ernest Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of new patients referred by physicians, identifying their needs and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing diverse therapeutic exercises and techniques suited to a wide range of patient conditions, consisting of orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes, ensuring alignment with the physician's directives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is a requirement.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida.
• Completion of a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information simply and effectively.
