Client Services Representative

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Temporary CLIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE opportunity with a community bank providing personalized banking and financial solutions. The CLIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Assist new account customers by explaining various account options and programs, and open new personal and business accounts.
• Identify, prepare, and review all appropriate new account documentation; ensure that all paperwork is complete, accurate, and accompanied by all required legal documents.
• Ensure that account maintenance activities requested by clients and management are completed accurately and in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures.
• Maintain current and up-to-date knowledge of the Bank's deposit products and services.
• Perform teller duties, including accepting deposits, cashing checks, receiving and disbursing cash, completing CTR (Currency Transaction Report) requirements, issuing cashier's checks, and responding to customer inquiries.
• Maintain an excellent cash balancing record and ensure that the cash drawer is balanced accurately.
• Maintain the appropriate level of drawer cash within established limits.
• Assist with the handling, preparation, and processing of incoming and outgoing cash shipments.
• Process night-drop deposits, courier bags, and bank-by-mail deposits in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate and properly use a variety of branch alarm and security equipment.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

• Minimum of 3+ years of recent and relevant banking or financial institution operations experience, including opening, closing, and performing maintenance on various types of personal and business deposit accounts and related products and services.
• Previous experience performing cash-handling and teller functions.
• Proven ability to provide prompt, professional, and high-quality customer service to all clients.
• General knowledge of current banking laws, regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to banking operations and new account functions within a bank or financial institution.
• Demonstrated record of regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, helpful, and professional demeanor; and the ability to remain flexible in a changing work environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications. Experience with FIS is a plus.
• Preferred Experience: Front-facing client service experience in a bank branch environment is preferred.

Pay Rate Range: $24.00 - $28.00/HOUR Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location.
