Certified Dental Assistant Coordinator Responsibilities Lead and support Dental Assistants in daily clinical operations Oversee sterilization procedures, infection control compliance, and related documentation Coordinate and maintain clinical staffing schedules Train new team members and provide ongoing education regarding policies and procedures Review and monitor daily and monthly clinical schedules for efficiency and accuracy Manage clinical inventory and order necessary supplies Coordinate patient medical clearances and follow up as needed Assist chairside and provide hands‑on dental support when required Monitor staff performance and assist with coaching and evaluations Ensure compliance with OSHA, Article 28, Joint Commission, and infection control standards Manage radiation badge reporting and regulatory documentation Support quality improvement initiatives and special projects Assist with front desk or administrative functions as needed Qualifications & Experience Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) required Current BCLS/CPR Certification required Current Infection Control Certification required Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred Minimum of 1 year of supervisory, lead, or coordinator experience Strong knowledge of 4-handed dentistry, sterilization, and infection control protocols Experience with staff training, coaching, and performance management Understanding of inventory control and dental office operations Familiarity with front desk procedures and patient scheduling preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required Why Join This Opportunity?
