Litigation Legal Assistant
A well-respected and longstanding law firm is looking to add a litigation legal assistant to their team. You would be supporting multiple stakeholders and litigation attorneys through complex legal processes from start to finish. Location: Chicago (Loop) Schedule: 1-day WFH per week Key Responsibilities: Draft, format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation-related materials. Manage electronic court filings, ensuring strict adherence to state and federal filing deadlines and procedures. Coordinate and maintain attorneys' calendars Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors. Essential qualifications: 3+ years' experience as a legal assistant Strong background in litigation Excellent organizational and communication skills
