Senior Financial Analyst

A client of ours is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic finance initiatives, planning, and performance analysis across a complex research-driven environment. This role partners closely with both operational and scientific leadership to drive decision-making, improve processes, and deliver actionable financial insights.

Responsibilities :
* Lead forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning across multiple funding streams
* Analyze financial performance and provide insights to ensure alignment with organizational goals and commitments
* Build and enhance forecasting models, KPIs, and reporting tools to support data-driven decisions
* Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost efficiencies, and optimization of strategic investments
* Partner with leadership to evaluate new initiatives and business opportunities
* Develop executive-level presentations and deliver insights to senior stakeholders, including board-level reporting
* Perform complex financial analysis in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Qualifications :
* 2+ years of experience in financial analysis within life sciences, biotech, technology, or research-driven environments
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business drivers
* Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and making decisions with incomplete data
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting demands
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability with a proactive approach to challenges
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across technical and non-technical teams
* Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field; background in investment banking or consulting is a plus
