If you desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way - the way you'd want your own care to be - this is the place to serve.Requirements:At least 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed RNOperational Hours: Mon - Sat 5:00am - 4:00pm (opener to come in about 4am)This clinic uses Braun Dialysis machines and has 12 chairs which requires 1 RN and 2 PCTs per shiftCompensation increases as you complete different levels of training and take on more responsibility!We are looking for someone that works well in a team, has great leadership skills, time management, able to take and give redirection if/when needed, not afraid to speak up and communicate, critical thinker.Details & Benefits:Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, PTO cash outSupport for you and your family: family resources, EAP counseling sessions, access Headspace®, backup child and elder care, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, and morePaid training: Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinicICHD Registered Nurse Day to Day:30%: Supervises and performs direct patient care including but not limited to taking and monitoring vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment of patients and patient treatments, taking and transcription of physician's orders, drawing and documentation of ordered laboratory work20%: Provides dialysis therapy, including but not limited to formulating dialysis plan per physician orders, weight and rate of ultrafiltration, verifying safety measures are in place and complied with, administering medications or other appropriate treatments, discontinuing dialysis according to established procedure, documenting all activity appropriately20%: Analyzes patient assessments, laboratory data and, when concerns are noted, brings issues to the attention of the physician. Notes signs of trauma, patients' general physical and mental condition, reviews dialysis orders, documents observations in patient medical records. Communicates all emergencies, patient life-threatening complications and related incidents to supervisor, Medical Director, Regional Operations Director, Facility or Group Facility Administrator15%: Assesses patient and family learning readiness and provides appropriate information on renal disease, prescribed dialysis treatment, and medical regimen and its impact on the patient's state of health and well-being. Participates in the development and implementation of the patient's short- and long-term plan of care and monthly progress noteRequirements:Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degreeAt least 1 year of experience working as a licensed nurse in a clinical settingYou might also have experience in the following that can be helpful but not requiredIntensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experienceCertified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)Employment at DaVita is contingent upon successfully passing a drug screen and a background checkDaVita is a clinical leader!
