Embark on a rewarding opportunity as an onsite Special Education Teacher providing support to a dedicated group of middle school students in an inclusive resource setting. This full-time, contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact by delivering specialized instruction and collaborating closely with general education teachers to ensure student success. You’ll be working with a caseload of 15–18 students, supporting their unique learning needs and contributing to a positive school environment.

Candidates best suited for this role will possess:

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Certification, with General Special Education endorsement or comparable credentials
• Demonstrated experience in school-based special education settings
• Proficiency in implementing and tracking IEPs
• Strong classroom management and effective documentation skills
• A collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams and general education staff
• Full-time availability, Monday–Friday, for 40 hours per week
• Reliable transportation to commute to the onsite location

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to student needs
• Support the implementation and progress monitoring of IEPs
• Maintain detailed records and provide thorough documentation for compliance
• Foster a positive, structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education and support staff to enhance student outcomes
• Communicate regularly with families and key stakeholders regarding progress

This is an onsite position with a set schedule aligned to the school year through May 2027, giving you the stability to connect deeply with students, families, and colleagues.
