It's the way you want to be treated.Position Summary: Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients. The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing. Provides leadership and supervision to CNA/SNA and other healthcare workers as assigned.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assess each patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needsPlans and implements a plan of care with the appropriate nursing interventions specific to the age population servedAssess educational needs of patient/ families implementing teaching strategiesEvaluate care given including the patient responseDocuments nursing care in the medical recordProvides delegation and supervision to CNA, SNA and other healthcare workers who assist the nurse in the plan of careAdministers medications and treatments as prescribedPromotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habitsProvides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of ConductRequired Qualifications:Education and Training:CPR certifiedCurrently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure per Nurse Practice ActWork Shift Details:Days - 12 Hours, 7a-7p with rotating weekend and holiday requirements Part-time; DaysDepartment:4-3 TELEMETRY MEDICAL IP NURSING
