Scientist, Biological Research - Oncology
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role: Biological Research Scientist specializing in oncology, focusing on prostate cancer. Objectives: advance preclinical drug discovery through experimental validation of therapeutic targets and agents. Responsibilities: design and perform in vitro experiments, generate comprehensive preclinical data packages for IND readiness, and collaborate across functions. Requirements: MS with 2+ years or BS with 3+ years relevant experience, strong cell biology and assay development skills, background in cancer biology and drug screening, proficiency in software like GraphPad Prism and FlowJo, detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities. Preferred: experience in prostate cancer research, creativity, and effective communication skills. HighValue: prostate cancer, preclinical stage, drug discovery, biologics and small molecules, IND support.
