About the Role

A growing national and international demolition contractor is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join the team at our St. Louis headquarters. This role owns the day-to-day project accounting that keeps our jobs billed, reported, and paid on time, and works closely with project managers and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports

• Summarize weekly job cost labor

• Prepare schedules of values (SOV) for project managers to support monthly billings

• Issue monthly billings to customers and apply incoming payments

• Submit monthly union reporting

• Prepare monthly work-in-progress (WIP) reports

• Prepare lien waivers for vendors

• Assist with job cost P&L analysis

• Other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Collaborative, team-oriented approach

• Preferred: construction industry experience and familiarity with billing platforms such as Procore and GCPay
