Senior Accountant Consultant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant. This role maintains a general ledger and related records, and also balances accounts. Responsibilities:

• Prepares daily cash receipts, bank deposits, other eft activity and single point uploads and balances cash accounts; Maintains PDF copies of all checks and deposits
• Maintaining all investment accounts and monthly reports for investment accounts
• Handles monthly general ledger journal, reports, and other business functions; Maintains monthly journal entry books and converting to PDF storage
• Maintains record of fixed assets and depreciation
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and prepares appropriate schedules and reports
• Maintains general ledger reports and reconciliations, helps assist in annual audits and quarterly reporting
• Assists in helping with mail sorting and making sure items go to the correct departments
• Assist and reviews analysis of patient billing and receivable along with monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable accounts

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of previous hospital accounting experience
• Must be proficient in accounting software including automated payroll systems
• Not for profit accounting experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
