Assembly TechnicianNow hiring for an Assembly Technician in Lenexa, KS. Pay rate is $21.00 per hour for a 1st shift schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday – Thursday. Friday would be OT and 6:00am-2:30pm. This opportunity lets you assemble products, inspect finished work, and help keep factory operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently.Education Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.Experience Requirements:Ability and 5 years' experience assembling products or components according to work instructions and production standards.Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required.Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality.Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks.Dependable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety.Preferred Qualifications:Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred.Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial.Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as an Assembly Technician.Experience performing mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical system assemblies.2 Year Degree in related Vocational Field of Study.Physical Capabilities:Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.This is a production classification and employees work in a factory environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery.Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull.Work involves considerable standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods of time.
