Accounts Payable RepresentativeExpress Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative for a local client. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely mannerMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentsPrepare and process weekly check runs and electronic paymentsReconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepanciesMaintain organized and accurate financial recordsCommunicate with vendors regarding payment inquiriesAssist with month-end closing and other accounting functions as neededPerform general administrative duties to support the accounting teamQualifications:Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience with accounting software is a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
