Tax Manager, Regional Top Rated CPA Firm

Position Description We have a new partnership with a growing, top‑rated Tampa, FL CPA and business advisory services firm that is looking for a high‑caliber Tax Manager. The regionally based CPA firm helps businesses in industries including logistics, retail, distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, and professional services. Services include tax preparation and review for C‑Corps, S‑Corps, estates, trusts, and partnerships. Applicants seeking a role that offers growth and the opportunity to work with clients on tax planning and advisory services in a one‑on‑one environment are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Strong analytical and technical tax accounting skills with the ability to research and implement tax liability and asset protection strategies and a strong management perspective on tax work for private and public businesses. Perform tax preparation and review work for multiple entities including partnerships, C‑Corps, S‑Corps, high net worth individuals, trusts, and estate entities. Act as a mentor and coach for junior tax employees, interacting well with other tax staff. Collaborate with partners and founders to review complex issues and strategies for multiple clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields (Finance, Business, Data Analytics). 4–6 years of public accounting experience (CPA, advisory, finance, wealth planning); 5–7 years preferred for a senior tax role. CPA preferred or CPA in progress and ability to sit for CPA soon; enrolled agent acceptable with similar experience. Experience with tax/accounting software programs including CCH, Pro System, and/or other tax planning software (Thompson Reuters). Experience with tax review on C‑Corp, S‑Corp, individual, HNW, and complex entity arrangements. Detail oriented with strong personal skills when working with high‑profile clients, founders, CEOs, VPs, and multi‑million‑dollar organizations. Salary and Benefits $120,000–$160,000 salary per year plus bonus and LTIP. PTO, generous policy. Medical/Health insurance employee subsidized. 401(k). Dental HMO plan. Full time.
