Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and the patient care team, focusing on achieving measurable goals and encouraging patient engagement.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities as necessary, with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery according to physician guidelines.
• Instruct patients and their families on exercises, the use of therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic devices to foster independence and enhance healing outside of therapy sessions.
• Effectively prioritize caseloads, determine daily staffing requirements, and coordinate treatment assignments to ensure comprehensive patient care coverage.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as per professional and regulatory standards, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice as a Physical Therapist will focus on a wide range of patient demographics, including both adults and pediatrics, with varying degrees of orthopedic emergencies and surgical recoveries. Qualifications

• Mandatory: Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
