Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, utilizing various assessment tools and methodologies to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Administer hands-on manual therapy techniques alongside therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery, improve mobility, and enhance overall patient function.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently in the electronic medical records (EMR) system to ensure accuracy and compliance with practice standards.
• Adjust and modify treatment approaches based on real-time feedback and outcomes to maximize rehabilitation success.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs that extend therapeutic benefits beyond clinic sessions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment strategies, share insights, and collaborate on patient care initiatives.
• Ensure all practices are aligned with California licensing regulations and documentation requirements, maintaining the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with at Gulf Side encompass a wide-ranging demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. Qualifications

• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in California, or eligibility to obtain one in a timely manner.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, current and up to date.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and contribute positively to a team atmosphere.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in diverse outpatient clinic environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with rehabilitation for sports-related injuries and preventative treatments.
• Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, Mandarin, or Tagalog, are highly valued and beneficial for our patient base.

Compensation and Benefits
