Work Environment

The position requires the candidate to work on-site in our modern outpatient office. You will be collaborating closely with an enthusiastic team of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring that our patients receive top-tier care. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly assess and identify the goals and needs of each patient to create customized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and high-quality interventions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver effective treatment modalities.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic strategies aimed at improving mobility and function while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop individualized care plans incorporating a range of techniques, including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities.
• Design fitness and wellness programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care grounded in evidence-based practices and proven interventions.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment process to enhance their overall functioning and self-efficacy.
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle through improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among patients.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, monitor patient progress, and engage in open communication with both patients and colleagues.
• Accurately document all patient services to maintain comprehensive patient records.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in hands-on manual therapy techniques and experience in developing effective rehabilitation exercise protocols.
• Strong familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric approach to treatment are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of hands-on experience in orthopedic outpatient settings. Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technologies and a commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in physical therapy will set applicants apart.

Compensation and Benefits
