Proposals Manager

In this role, the Proposals Manager will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality submissions that showcase the organization's expertise, value, and market leadership Who You Are Experienced in developing proposals, pitch materials, RFP responses, and other business development content within a professional services environment A skilled writer who can transform complex information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused messaging Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously Detail-oriented and quality-driven, with strong critical thinking and sound decision-making abilities A collaborative communicator who builds effective relationships across teams and levels of an organization Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems, tools, and technologies What You'll Do Lead the development of customized proposals, presentations, and competitive pursuit materials for finance-related practice areas Partner with attorneys, marketing professionals, and business teams to create compelling submissions that showcase capabilities and experience Manage the full lifecycle of RFPs, RFIs, and procurement-driven opportunities, ensuring all requirements are met Coordinate timelines, content development, stakeholder input, and submission logistics to deliver high-quality work on schedule Provide guidance, coaching, and workflow oversight to proposal team members while promoting best practices Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance content resources, and support strategic business development initiatives What Success Looks Like Proposal and presentation deliverables are consistently completed accurately, professionally, and on time Clients and internal stakeholders receive responsive, organized, and solution-oriented support throughout pursuit efforts Content effectively communicates the organization's strengths, experience, and value proposition Complex projects are managed efficiently, even when balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines Team collaboration remains strong, with knowledge sharing and continuous improvement driving higher-quality outcomes Strategic pursuits are positioned for success through thoughtful planning, strong execution, and attention to detail Salary Range: $135,000 – $155,000 annually, based on experience Location: NYC Gainor is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
