Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled surgical professionals with a focus on operating room technology and surgical technology (certified or non-certified). This contract role provides hands-on experience serving a high-acuity patient population, primarily during night shifts over weekends.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 6:30 PM start
• Weekend and on-call rotation required

Key Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience (first-time travelers accepted only with this experience)
• Certification preferred but not required
• Extensive trauma and neuro surgical background—strong experience in trauma (excluding burns) and neuro is a must
• Familiarity with general, vascular, ENT, gyn, urology, robotics (including Mazor/DaVinci XI), plastics, and eyes procedures
• Endovascular experience highly desired (especially for those focused on vascular cases)
• Ability to scrub in a variety of complex surgical areas, with emphasis on robotics
• Comfortable working with advanced EMR (Cerner), IV pumps (Plum 360), and medication systems (Omnicell)
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of a collaborative surgical team in a busy, high-volume OR setting
• Scrub and assist in a range of cases including trauma, neuro, vascular, and general surgery procedures
• Support robotic surgeries and maintain proficiency in fast-paced environments
• Participate in a weekend-focused schedule, with on-call responsibilities in all service lines except Open Heart
• Attend a comprehensive orientation (2 weeks on days, buddy call included)
• Exhibit professionalism and commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes
