Your Responsibilities

• Performing detailed patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic evaluations, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (depending on your credentials)
• Providing patient and family education focused on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your professional scope

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Utah
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
