• Current, active Special Education Teaching License in good standing
• Direct experience running a High School Life Skills or self-contained classroom (not solely resource room or general case management)
• Demonstrated proficiency in high school transition planning and adaptive care strategies
• Strong ability to develop, implement, and maintain effective IEPs and functional, measureable goals
• Experience leading classroom teams and providing direction to paraprofessionals
• Commitment to fostering positive learning environments that encourage personal independence

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction in functional academics, daily living skills, and personal independence tailored to individual student needs
• Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment—supervising and collaborating with paraprofessional staff
