Required:
- Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
- Experience with Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022. (2+ years)
- Experience with IIS Administration. (2+ years)
- Experience in network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing and NTFS permissions. (2+ years)
- Experience in AWS cloud systems. (2+ years)
- Experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration. (3+ years)
- Experience in information systems engineering or a related field (5+ years)
- Experience in networking principles and cloud-based network architectures.
- Experience with AWS Services.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Services.
- Experience with Microsoft Server products.
- Experience with Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu).
- Experience with IT infrastructure and application development technology and architectures.
- Experience with Linux administration, including Linux patching.
- Experience with assessment and analytical processes and practices.
- Experience in strategic planning.
- Experience in researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings and develop improvement solutions.
- Experience in system administration and hosting across a wide range of solutions.
- Experience in managing Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, pipelines and overseeing/configuring organizational settings.
Preferred:
- Experience with other cloud providers, such as GCP. (2+ years)
- Experience in the administration of Microsoft software. (2+ years)
- Experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services. (3+ years)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support and expand Client's infrastructure.
- Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple parties
- Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades.
- Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance.
- Establish systems by evaluating network performance issues, including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; and establishing connections and firewalls.
- Maintains network and systems performance by performing systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting systems and application problems; escalating problems to vendor.
- Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
