We are looking for a powerhouse Criminal Defense Attorney based in New Jersey who is ready to pivot their courtroom expertise toward Removal Immigration proceedings. If you are a confident litigator who thrives in high-stakes environments but is looking for a career with a deeper sense of purpose, this is your calling. We will teach you the immigration side; you bring the fire for justice. What You’ll Need Legal Credentials: Must be a licensed attorney and a member of the New Jersey Bar. Litigation Background: 1–3 years of experience, ideally in criminal defense or high-stakes litigation. Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in both English and Spanish. The “Hustle” & Heart: A deep alignment with immigrant rights and social justice. Willingness to Learn: A proactive disposition to master immigration law, bond representation, and removal defense strategies. Location & Logistics: Based in New Jersey with a reliable vehicle to appear in person for court and ICE presentations in NJ, NY, and PA. What You’ll Do Master a New Field: Transition your trial skills to represent clients in Master Calendar, Bond, and Individual Hearings. Strategize: Develop innovative defense strategies, including Cancellation of Removal, Asylum, and Adjustment of Status. Collaborate: Work with a dedicated team of paralegals and case managers to build ironclad cases. Participate in “Consultation Day” events to evaluate case eligibility and explain legal options.
