Plant Manager

This company has built a strong reputation by doing what many manufacturers struggle to do
well: producing highly customized products on tight timelines without sacrificing quality.
Now they’re looking for a Plant Manager who can help sharpen and optimize the operation even
further.
They need a true manufacturing leader - someone who has successfully improved production
flow, reduced bottlenecks, tightened scheduling and logistics, and created a more efficient
operational rhythm inside a fast-moving plant environment.
This is not a maintenance-heavy “keep the lights on” role, and it’s not a corporate desk job.
The right person will be highly visible on the floor, able to connect naturally with supervisors and
operators, hold teams accountable, and drive operational improvements that actually stick. They
want someone who can walk into a plant, identify inefficiencies, organize the chaos, and
improve throughput without losing the people side of leadership.
The environment is high-mix, quick-turn, and customer-driven. Orders are constantly changing,
lead times are tight, and production requires coordination across scheduling, shipping, quality,
and operations. Experience in repetitive mass production environments typically does not
translate as well here.

● Architectural or building products
● Metal service centers
● Other made-to-order manufacturing environments
Compensation is strong, bonus potential is meaningful, and the company is stable, profitable,
