Behavior Technician (BT) – School-Based Contract
Location: Caldwell, Idaho

Job Overview
ProCare Therapy has an immediate opening for a compassionate and reliable Behavior Technician to join a supportive school district team in Caldwell, ID. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will provide direct behavioral support to students, helping them manage behaviors, develop social skills, and thrive in an academic setting.
Key Responsibilities
1:1 Behavioral Support: Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support student academic and social development.
Progress Tracking: Gather, record, and maintain clear daily data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition goals.
Proactive Strategies: Implement de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement strategies to promote replacement behaviors.
Interdisciplinary Support: Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
Student Engagement: Encourage positive interactions and student participation across structured classroom settings and unstructured school activities (recess, lunch).
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (College coursework in Special Education, Psychology, or Human Services preferred).
Certifications: RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification preferred, or relevant state-accepted behavior support credentials.
Experience: Prior experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Compliance: Must be able to complete background checks and clearance requirements for Idaho school districts.
