Opportunity highlights include:Growing team seeking to meet growing volumes6 General and 3 Interventional2 Inpatient APP care extenders5 Outpatient APP care extendersInpatient & Outpatient Setting, M-F 8 am - 5pmCall 1:6 shared with group, 6 weekdays per month, 1 weekend every 5-6 weeksResponsible for interpretation of echocardiograms, EKGs, stress testing, and zio monitoring.Practice includes consultations, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Pacemaker Clinic and Heart Failure ClinicPrimary angioplasty available with 3 interventional cardiologists on staff24/7 in-house intensivist coverageLive and work close to the spectacular Chesapeake Bay in these ideal locations that offer family-friendly neighborhoods, gourmet restaurants and shopping. This regional health care network serving Caroline, Dorchester, Queen Anne's, Kent, and Talbot counties includes the UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, UM Shore Health Medical Center at Dorchester in Cambridge, and UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. UM Shore Regional Health, which was formed in July of 2013, connects residents and visitors to primary care and specialty physicians, emergency medical services, and a coordinated system of prevention, diagnosis and treatment.QualificationsPossesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within CardiologyPossesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Annual salary: $556,470. The posted compensation reflects the range based on current MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the physician's experience, training, and qualificationsOther Compensation: generous sign-on package, including your choice of a $20,000–$25,000 sign-on bonus or a $50,000 housing allowance toward the purchase of a home in your first year. We also offer relocation assistance up to $10,000 and a competitive production bonus—all designed to support your transition and long-term success.
