Senior Financial Analyst

Primary Purpose The Sr. Financial Analyst has the lead day-to-day responsibility for managing and controlling O&M and capital costs, supporting accurate planning, reporting and analysis of operations, and handling ad‑hoc requests to inform executive and managerial decisions. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Provide financial analysis and reporting for management on major capital and O&M cost drivers; forecast performance against goals, plans and budgets. Lead monthly financial closing (pre‑ and post‑close work) and deliver all required reporting to corporate center and site management. Develop the long‑range financial plan. Review and process capital and other project request proposals; monitor and report on project spend. Perform cost reporting and tracking planning. Conduct periodic ad‑hoc reporting and analyses. Mentor junior financial analysts, overseeing work product and providing training and guidance. Execute complex special projects at management’s request. Minimum Qualifications 4‑year degree in a business‑related field with 5 to 8 years of business‑related experience, demonstrating success in finance or business operations. Effective financial analysis skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial metrics and statement relationships. Understanding of business operations and industry practices. Proficiency in computer‑based analytical tools (e.g., Access, Excel, PowerPoint, database management). Preferred Qualifications MBA or CPA Expertise in PeopleSoft and related financial systems Compensation and Benefits Expected salary range: $97,200 to $108,000, varying by experience.
