Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly explaining each procedure with empathy
• Cultivate close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to provide exceptional diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document examination procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Remain updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
