Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer up to 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.Primary Responsibilities:Handle inbound and make outbound calls to schedule appointments for patients within American Health Network's specialty practicesEnter information into patient charts and send tasks to clinical sitesReview and check patient insurance eligibilityEnsure patient confidentiality with the handling of all patient health information and medical recordsCommunicate all progress and issues with the call center management teamScan and import documents into patient chartsPerform all other related duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experienceMust be 18+ years of age OR older2+ years of experience working in a healthcare OR a customer service position2+ years of experience in a role requiring clear, positive, and cooperative verbal and written communication skills, as information will be entered into patient recordsExperience with computers and Windows based programsAbility to work full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday.
