Production Supervisor

A well-established food manufacturer is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 25 employees in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee performance while ensuring daily operations run efficiently and customer expectations are met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, and creating a culture of accountability on the production floor. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise production personnel to ensure efficient daily operations Maintain product quality standards and verify compliance with food safety and company procedures Promote and enforce a strong safety culture throughout the facility Complete and review daily production and quality documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance Utilize internal systems to create and track maintenance work orders Participate in plant testing activities, coordinating labor and raw materials required for successful execution Monitor test results and communicate findings to appropriate departments Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives Train, coach, and develop production employees Drive accountability and performance while fostering a positive team environment Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Previous experience supervising production employees Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles ERP system experience Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule: Thursday-Saturday (5:00 PM-5:00 AM) Ability to complete approximately 6-8 weeks of training on day shift Preferred Qualifications Food or beverage manufacturing experience Bakery manufacturing experience Experience supporting food safety and quality initiatives Familiarity with automated production equipment and manufacturing systems Why Consider This Opportunity?
