As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and an agile approach. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.47 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts. Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
