Special Procedures Tech – Interventional Radiology, PRN Location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231. Work Hours: PRN, as needed. Hours of operation Monday–Friday 7:00AM–5:30PM; on‑call requirements and must live within a 30‑minute drive. Fast‑Paced, high volume Engaged Physicians and Leadership Team Qualifications Associate Degree in applied science required OR Completion of accredited program in radiology technology required OR High School Diploma plus 2 years work experience in special procedures required.

1. Year vascular or cardiac angiography—preferred
2. Years required with high school diploma

ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required OR RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon hire required OR RCES – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire required OR CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required. Responsibilities Imaging Quality and Processing: Identifies, troubleshoots, and initiates quality improvement. Explains procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam. Performs complex procedures including age‑related criteria and developmental considerations. Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique. Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS. Performs assignments deemed necessary by supervisor.
