Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our outpatient facility, which is designed with patient comfort and accessibility in mind. The work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while dedicating ample time to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical capabilities, ensuring the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement hands-on therapeutic techniques and employ evidence-based interventions to facilitate patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.
• Provide education and coaching to patients regarding exercises, lifestyle modifications, and recovery strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and outcome measures in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• An active Physical Therapist license in New York is required.
