Details:

• Pay for this position is 68.00 to 72.53 hourly depending on experience.
• This position is a contract through 2025 with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.
• Location: Santa Clara, CA

Requirements:

• Must be a Licensed NP in the state of California
• Must have experience working as an NP
• Occupational health experience is not required.

Summary

• Provide acute episodic ambulatory care, consultative occupational injury/illness care, as well as health and wellness counseling and promotion for employees.
• Carry a patient caseload requiring a high degree of independent judgement and advanced skill gained through academic and clinical preparation.
• Provide emergency (first- aid) treatments to employees who become ill or suffer an accident on company premises, arranging for transportation to another care provider, if needed.
• Provide subcutaneous immunotherapy for individuals in their maintenance phase as deemed by a treating allergist.
• Provision of travel health services for individuals traveling internationally requiring review and administration of applicable vaccines, prescription for applicable medications, and education/counseling tailored to the individual's destination and medical history.
• Assists in the process of medical leaves of absence and Workers' Compensation.
• Participates in periodic evaluations (customers surveys, trend analysis, etc.) of the effectiveness of the Health Services & Resources services provided to the employees.
