Vaccines Operational Excellence Director

Operational Excellence Director leads strategy and execution for vaccines medical affairs initiatives across global markets. The role manages cross-functional project coordination, financial oversight, and organizational alignment while supporting medical teams and change management efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of category-level medical affairs initiatives impacting multiple stakeholders
• Drive alignment of goals and strategic priorities across medical affairs teams and cross-functional partners
• Oversee financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation for assigned assets
• Coordinate medical affairs activities including advisory boards, congresses, and launch planning
• Establish and maintain processes, SOPs, and governance structures supporting medical strategy execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience; advanced degree preferred with 8+ years
• Medical Affairs organizational experience essential; clinical function background desirable
• Project management and business operations expertise with demonstrated budgetary management skills
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities
• Decision-making skills with ability to prioritize multiple complex projects and programs
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and change management principles
