This is a great fit for a detail-oriented accounting professional who wants to work with supportive leadership, collaborate with a team, and grow into a broader financial leadership path.Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation.- Process and review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll transactions, and payroll reconciliations.- Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and related financial reports.- Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and help ensure accurate accounting records in compliance with GAAP.- Support budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and process improvements across accounting and finance functions.Compensation and Benefits- Salary: $150,000 per year.- Direct hire opportunity.- Location: Roseville, CA.- Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.Required Qualifications and Skills- Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.- Prepare financial statements, profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.- Support AP, AR, payroll accounting, audit preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.- Maintain accurate financial records while supporting process improvements and GAAP compliance.- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a 4-year in-person program required.- 5+ years of accounting experience required.- Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls.- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll support, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.- Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.- Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving ability, and deadline management.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments.Preferred Qualifications- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred.- Experience in real estate, property management, or related accounting environments preferred.- Experience with Yardi, Management America, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP/accounting platforms preferred.- Prior experience supporting audits, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:The pay transparency policy is available here:For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
