Job Summary

A respected private law firm in Tustin, CA is seeking a Legal Assistant for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a polished, personable professional with strong communication skills who enjoys supporting attorneys, speaking with clients, and helping organize important legal information.

The Legal Assistant will serve as a key first point of contact for potential and former clients, including individuals and business representatives involved in active lawsuits. This position offers the opportunity to join an established legal environment with long-term stability, supportive team collaboration, and meaningful day-to-day interaction with attorneys, clients, and staff.

This is a great fit for someone who is dependable, empathetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional office where accuracy, confidentiality, and client service matter.

Key Responsibilities

- Speak with potential and former clients regarding new claims, lawsuits, and legal representation needs.
- Gather, document, and organize information related to new matters, retained clients, case filings, businesses, and involved parties.
- Conduct internet research to support attorneys and staff with case-related information.
- Prepare and send emails, correspondence, and internal updates regarding new claims and legal matters.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and case information while handling confidential information professionally.
- Assist attorneys and legal staff with administrative, clerical, and legal office support duties as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Employment Type: Direct Hire.
- Schedule: Full-Time.
- Location: Tustin, CA.
