Work Environment

The work environment at our outpatient office is supportive and engaging, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development. You will work primarily on-site, ensuring that you have immediate access to the resources you need to provide outstanding care. Your schedule will typically consist of weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, with the option for four 10-hour shifts for those who prefer extended days.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mobility and functional limitations, utilizing both manual methodologies and advanced assessment tools.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans that reflect each patient's unique needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based techniques and modalities.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and use of specialized equipment to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs to empower them in their recovery journeys.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and outcomes within electronic health records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative recovery patients to those recovering from sports injuries and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele often consists of individuals looking to regain mobility and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. Understanding and addressing a wide array of conditions will be an essential component of your role.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong clinical decision-making abilities to adapt treatment based on patient responses and progress.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with specific techniques or equipment used in rehabilitation, such as therapeutic ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Familiarity with current best practices and trends in physical therapy rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes:
