Work Environment

Your role will be based onsite at our rehabilitation center in Marco Island, Florida, a vibrant community known for its beautiful beaches and welcoming atmosphere. You will be working in a friendly, supportive environment alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and collaborative care. The center operates Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling options, including standard 8-hour days or four 10-hour days, to accommodate both patient needs and your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' physical conditions using a variety of diagnostic methodologies.
• Create, implement, and modify goal-oriented therapy plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on optimizing their functional mobility.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure accurate communication with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, health management strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Collaborate closely with other health care professionals to provide multidisciplinary care plans that address the holistic needs of each patient.
• Participate in ongoing team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights for continuous improvement in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with outpatients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our diverse patient population includes adults and seniors, with a variety of health challenges ranging from orthopedic issues to neurological disorders. Your ability to adapt treatment plans and thrive in a dynamic clinical setting will ensure that each patient receives personalized care that enhances their recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A current Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to pursue licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in rehabilitation therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your skills and experience. To support your overall well-being, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
