The Director of Nursing at Big Meadows is responsible for supervising nursing operations and implementing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management
• Lead infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor resident care plans and clinical outcomes
• Manage department budget and supplies
• Serve as primary contact during state surveys and audits
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

Experience:

• Nursing Management: 2 years (Preferred)
• Nursing: 5 years (Required)
• Dementia: 1 year (Preferred)
