Job Description:  
The Warehouse Assistant assists with the daily operation of the Warehouse and provides customer service while fulfilling pick-up orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Operate Forklift
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule and on demand pickups (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receiving, unloading, counting, and stocking physical inventory in the warehouse
• Arrange appropriate transportation of products using the courier’s software
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, inventory space and workstations neat and free of hazards
• Data entry, scanning documents, managing spreadsheets
• Perform inventory as necessary
• Assist with building maintenance as necessary
• Promote a safe working environment by following all relevant OSHA and company safety policies
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:   

• Shipping/Receiving Experience
• Strong customer service skills, communication skills, and attention to detail,
• Knowledge of export/import shipment requirements is a plus
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet navigation
• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.

Experience and Requirements:  

• High School degree or equivalent
• Read, write, and understand English
• Valid Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain certification at hire.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
