Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare disciplines, employing critical thinking and professional judgment.
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement patient care plans, and evaluate progress toward achieving outcomes.
• Provide health education and learning opportunities for patients and families.
