The New York City Police Department strives to foster a safe and fair city through the strategic deployment of resources, focusing on both crime prevention and addressing quality-of-life concerns while building lasting community relationships. The Fleet Services Division is responsible for the repair and upkeep of all NYPD vehicles and vehicles contracted from other city agencies. The Division is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Procurement Analyst. The individual would be responsible to review bids and proposals submitted by vendors wishing to do business with FSD. In addition to acquiring goods and services for FSD, the individual would also be responsible for following up on problems relating to the delivery of the goods and services, if any. The individual would also be utilizing various procurement related systems to complete the aforementioned tasks. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The assignment would be to the Fiscal Unit of FSD, therefore being detail orientated is necessary. If you have taken the 'Procurement Analyst' civil service exam, please indicate the exam number on your resume.
