Tabgha Real Estate is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager / Superintendent to oversee a ground-up multifamily construction project in the Los Angeles area.
POSITION DETAILS
• Location: Los Angeles, California
• Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, subject to adjustment based on project requirements and construction activities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee daily field operations and direct onsite construction activities
• Review architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings
• Identify drawing conflicts, constructability issues, and coordination requirements
• Prepare RFIs and manage responses from architects, engineers, and consultants
• Evaluate change order scopes, review subcontractor proposals, and prepare cost estimates
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules, manpower, material deliveries, and site logistics
• Prepare for and attend City inspections, Deputy Inspections, and other required inspections
• Monitor jobsite safety and compliance with applicable Cal/OSHA requirements
• Maintain daily reports, progress photographs, inspection records, and other project documentation
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, inspectors, consultants, and project stakeholders
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects
• Ability to independently read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing or reviewing change order pricing
• Ability to direct subcontractors and field personnel effectively
• Professional working proficiency in both Korean and English
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Type III or Type V construction and podium structures
• Experience with LADBS permitting and inspection procedures
• Experience coordinating Deputy Inspections
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management software
• OSHA 30, USACE CQM, or other relevant construction certifications
COMPENSATION AND SUPPORT
• Compensation: $60,000–$120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
• This is a W-2 employee position
• Mileage, fuel, and approved job-related expenses may be reimbursed in accordance with company policy
• Additional employment terms will be discussed during the interview process
