Maintenance Technician/HVAC

We're looking for a Maintenance Mechanic I who can help keep our campus safe, comfortable, and running at its best. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, locks, appliances, and other building systems. Responding to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls with professionalism and urgency. Assisting with HVAC equipment resets and basic repairs to keep residents comfortable year-round. Completing work orders accurately and efficiently while documenting completed repairs. Working alongside fellow maintenance team members on special projects and campus improvements. Helping maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies needed to get the job done. Participating in scheduled on-call rotations and responding when needed. Creating a positive and welcoming community for all. What We're Looking For Experience in general building maintenance, apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or commercial maintenance. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, appliances, and HVAC. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A team player who enjoys helping others. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1–2 years of maintenance, facilities, apartment, or construction-related experience preferred. HVAC experience or knowledge strongly preferred. Physical Requirements Lifting up to 50 pounds. Walking, climbing ladders, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the day. Working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
