Mailroom Clerk

Mailroom Clerk Candidates who receive an offer will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test as a condition of employment. Job Summary: Responsible for providing mailroom, shipping and receiving, print production, document imaging, and office support services in a fast-paced corporate environment. Handles incoming and outgoing mail and packages, operates mail and print equipment, delivers materials across campus, and provides exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate records and meeting operational deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Sort, stage, scan, and distribute incoming letters, packages, and freight. Deliver mail and packages to designated mail stops across campus using campus maps. Pick up outgoing mail and packages and prepare shipments for FedEx, USPS, and other carriers. Process mail using postage equipment and prepare shipping labels. Track shipments, research package status, and respond professionally to customer email inquiries. Operate high-volume copy, print, scanning, document imaging, and bindery equipment. Perform quality checks, finishing, binding, laminating, shrink wrapping, and document preparation. Maintain copier functionality by clearing paper jams, monitoring supplies, and reporting equipment issues. Maintain inventory of office and mailroom supplies and complete operational logs and reports. Support shipping, receiving, file management, and records organization. Assist with conference room setups, office moves, light facility support, and other building services as assigned. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, coordinating service requests, and meeting service level expectations. Travel between campus buildings to complete deliveries and operational support tasks. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 12 years of experience in mailroom, print production, shipping/receiving, office services, or a related environment. Experience operating mail processing, copy, print, and document imaging equipment preferred. Valid driver's license may be required. Lift and move up to 50 lbs. (team lift for heavier items). Push and pull loaded carts and mail equipment. Bend, reach, stretch, climb, and travel between multiple buildings as needed.
