Step into a rewarding role in education where your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) impacts students across various grade levels. This is a full-time, contract position supporting K-12 schools during the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll provide in-person district-wide assistance, collaborating with building staff and making meaningful contributions to both behavior and autism programs.
In this dynamic environment, you will oversee multiple school sites—each offering unique challenges and opportunities to innovate. Rather than managing a direct caseload, you'll focus on conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Your leadership will be essential, as you supervise two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and empower colleagues with guidance and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in Colorado
- Hold valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentials
- Proven experience in K-12 settings, particularly in behavior and autism support programs
- Strong skills in developing and implementing FBAs and BIPs
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
- Comfortable working onsite and across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide district-wide behavioral support for K-12 students and staff
- Collaborate to craft and refine FBAs and BIPs, ensuring best outcomes for students
- Supervise and mentor two RBTs
- Deliver expert consultation and training to school personnel
- Respond to behavioral needs in real-time, using data-driven strategies
- Support program development and continual improvement initiatives
