Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Charge RN for weekend night shifts in the Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will have extensive ER, charge, and critical access hospital experience, with the ability to float to Med/Surg and Stepdown units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate nursing care in the Emergency Department during designated shifts.
• Supervise and support staff, ensuring adherence to clinical procedures and protocols.
• Float to Med/Surg and Stepdown units to assist with patient care demands.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to triage, prioritize, and manage patient needs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all licenses and certifications are current.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth patient flow and safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New Hampshire RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent ER RN experience, with charge leadership.
• Demonstrate experience working in a Critical Access Hospital.
• Maintain active certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from the American Heart Association.
• Have previous travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Be willing to work weekend night shifts and travel outside a 50-mile radius from home.
