Precision GrinderMcElroy Manufacturing is hiring a skilled Precision Grinder to join our manufacturing team at our Fulton campus. If you're detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and enjoy working with precision machinery — this is the place for you!What You'll DoSet up and operate precision grinding machines, including surface, OD/ID, magnetic chuck, CNC, and crush grinders.Read and interpret blueprints, job packets, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency.Select and dress appropriate grinding wheels for each project.Inspect finished parts to confirm tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.Maintain and perform light repairs on grinding equipment to keep everything running smoothly.Collaborate with teammates and engineers to solve problems and improve processes.Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.What We're Looking ForAt least 3 years of experience in precision grinding or high-tolerance machining.Familiarity with grinding machines, tooling, and materials.Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).Excellent attention to detail — you take pride in producing top-quality work.Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.Safety-Sensitive DesignationJobs which involve one or more tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others are considered safety-sensitive.
